Here are the most interesting stories Wednesday in the AFC East:
  • Buffalo Bills defensive end Mario Williams says the time is now to show urgency.
Morning take: It’s too late for the Bills to make the playoffs unless they essentially run the table. But Buffalo can win several games in the season's second half and play the spoiler role.
Morning take: Tannehill tied a career high by throwing three interceptions in a blowout loss to the Tennessee Titans. He has a quick turnaround Thursday against Buffalo to show he can bounce back.
Morning take: Yes. Next topic.
  • General manager Mark Dominik says the Buccaneers traded cornerback Aqib Talib to the New England Patriots because Tampa Bay was not going to re-sign the pending free agent.
Morning take: The Buccaneers did what they had to in order to get something for Talib. New England might not retain the cornerback, either, but the Patriots need his services right now.
