Morning take: Crown the Patriots

Here are the most interesting stories Friday in the AFC East:
  • You can crown the New England Patriots AFC East champs after the Miami Dolphins’ loss to the Buffalo Bills.
Morning take: The Dolphins still have two games against the Patriots and could have made it interesting. But that's out the window now with the Dolphins (4-6) losing three straight.
  • Bills tailback C.J. Spiller handles the load with 91 rushing yards on 22 carries in 19-14 victory over the Dolphins.
Morning take: Fred Jackson’s injury forced Buffalo’s hand. But it would be silly if Spiller doesn’t remain the starter for the rest of the season.
Morning take: Not good grades for Miami. More losses could be coming considering the Dolphins' tough upcoming schedule.
Morning take: Johnson signs the checks. But I would point the blame at some other areas before I get to Johnson. The owner can’t fire himself anyway.
