The New York Jets (6-7) may still have a shot at the playoffs. But that didn't stop NBC from taking the Jets out of prime time in Week 16.

The television network used its ability to flex schedule New York's prime-time game against the San Diego Chargers (5-8) on Dec. 23 and moved it up to 1 p.m. ET. NBC replaced the Jets with the NFC West matchup between the San Francisco 49ers (9-3-1) and Seattle Seahawks (8-5).

The Jets still have one prime-time game remaining this season. New York will be on ESPN's "Monday Night Football" next week in a must-win game against the Tennessee Titans.
