The New York Jets (6-7) will be rooting hard for another team in green Thursday night. The Philadelphia Eagles will host the Cincinnati Bengals (7-6), who lead the Jets by one game for the final playoff seed in the AFC.

The Jets, Bengals and Pittsburgh Steelers (7-6) are in a three-team race for the wild card with just three games remaining. The Eagles (4-9) could do the Jets a huge favor by beating Cincinnati. The Bengals and Steelers also will play next week in what will be an elimination game. The Jets need a few things to go their way, starting tonight.

New York, of course, has to handle its own business. The Jets will travel to play the Tennessee Titans (4-9) on "Monday Night Football." New York must run the table and get to 9-7 in order to have a strong chance at the playoffs.
