Here are the most interesting stories Saturday in the AFC East: Morning take: From the perspective of being about $20 million over the cap, yes. Idzik is a salary cap specialist. However, his personnel experience is limited, and the Jets lack talent. That could be an issue.
  • New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady knows playoff wins are hard to come by.
Morning take: Brady has more postseason wins than anyone in NFL history. He has made it look easier than it really is, which is part of Brady's Hall of Fame legacy.
Morning take: Buffalo must build through the draft to get the team headed in the right direction. With a new coaching staff and new offensive and defensive schemes, there is a lot of transition.
Morning take: Pro Bowl guards Logan Mankins of New England or Marshal Yanda of the Baltimore Ravens will be out after advancing to the Super Bowl. It’s possible that both could skip the Pro Bowl after a physical playoff run, which opens the door for Incognito.
