Here are the most interesting stories Tuesday in the AFC East: Morning take: It’s definitely a need, but I don’t see a safe quarterback worth taking at No. 8. The Senior Bowl was not a good showing. Maybe Matt Barkley or Geno Smith emerges during the pre-draft process.
Morning take: Miami feels it has a good enough tandem in Lamar Miller and Daniel Thomas. Bush wants to cash in after rushing for more than 2,000 yards the past two seasons. He is a solid leader but Miami will not overpay for his services.
Morning take: Idzik is talking Sanchez up this week. Yet, it’s doubtful Idzik feels good enough to make Sanchez the 2013 starting quarterback unless the Jets have no other choice.
Morning take: New England has plenty of tight ends, but receiver is another issue. The Patriots must first decide what to do with free agents Wes Welker and Julian Edelman.
