Here are the most interesting stories Wednesday in the AFC East:
  • The Buffalo Bills are reportedly one of several teams interested in Seattle Seahawks backup quarterback Matt Flynn.
Morning take: You can’t count the desperate Bills out of any quarterback chase. The Bills know Tarvaris Jackson is not the long-term solution. But Buffalo doesn't have many picks in this draft and may be hard-pressed to trade quality selections to Seattle.
  • Free-agent defensive end Dwight Freeney reportedly wants $6 million per year. Is that too much for the New England Patriots?
Morning take: I do not see New England paying that kind of money. The Patriots are looking for bargains at this stage and Freeney apparently will not come cheap.
Morning take: I'm not big on logos and jerseys. I care much more about how a team plays, not how the uniforms look. But I'm sure many Dolphins fans will feel one way or the other about the changes.
  • Could the New York Jets consider former Notre Dame linebacker Manti Te’o?
Morning take: It's doubtful. The Jets hold the No. 9 overall pick, which is too high for Te'o. New York needs to focus on safer picks early in the draft.
