Here are the most interesting stories Monday in the AFC East:
  • Free-agent receiver Terrell Owens says joining the New England Patriots would be a "no-brainer."
Morning take: It’s time for Owens to let this one go. The Patriots have expressed no interest in Owens, but an offseason workout with quarterback Tom Brady started the speculation.
Morning take: West Virginia is not always a warm-weather climate. According to ESPNNewYork’s Rich Cimini, Smith was 4-1 in games 41 degrees or colder.
Morning take: The reviews have been all over the place for rookie quarterbacks like Manuel and Smith. What matters is Buffalo puts as many resources as possible into Manuel to provide him the best shot to be successful at the next level.
Morning take: Gillislee was impressive last week during rookie minicamp. The fifth-round pick could be a surprise success in Miami's 2013 rookie class.
