FOXBOROUGH, Mass. -- The Patriots made a series of roster moves in advance of Tuesday's deadline to get down to 75 players.

The team officially re-signed cornerback Stephon Morris, as was previously noted in this space, and also re-signed defensive lineman Scott Vallone.

Wide receiver Kamar Aiken, cornerback Brandon Jones, linebacker Niko Koutouvides, cornerback LeQuan Lewis and long-snapper Mike Zupancic were all released.

Finally, the team placed defensive lineman Cory Grissom and offensive lineman Markus Zusevics on injured reserve, while also placing defensive lineman Armond Armstead and wide receiver Mark Harrison on the reserve/non-football injury list.

Following this series of moves, the Patriots now stand at 77 players on the roster. They will need to make two more transactions by Tuesday afternoon.
