Miami morning take: Dolphins history

September, 26, 2013
Here are the most interesting Miami Dolphins stories Thursday from around the web:
  • Andrew Abramson of the Palm Beach Post examines the previous 12 times the Dolphins started 3-0.
Morning take: Nine of those teams made the playoffs. This one has a good chance to be the 10th, but the Dolphins must avoid injuries and not have a letdown.
  • Chris Perkins of the Sun Sentinel says the Dolphins have big problems against the Saints.
Morning take: There are not a lot of matchups that favor Miami in this game. I’m going to hold my prediction until Friday, but I know where I’m leaning.
  • Adam Beasley of the Miami Herald profiles Dolphins rookie Jamar Taylor, who is expected to make his NFL debut Monday.
Morning take: It’s been a long road for Taylor, who suffered a kidney issue before the draft and has worked his way back from various injuries. The second-round pick is getting healthy at the right time, with Miami’s secondary banged up.
  • Andy Kent of the Dolphins website says the team is getting ready for the Superdome in New Orleans.
Morning take: Miami got a good warm-up in Indianapolis two weeks ago. But Monday's environment will be louder, and the Dolphins have to counter it.
