Here are the most interesting stories Friday morning in the AFC East: Morning take: That's reasonable. This is the date of Miami's third preseason game. The Dolphins have plenty of time. It will be up to quarterbacks Matt Moore, David Garrard or perhaps Ryan Tannehill to separate from the pack.
  • New England Patriots receiver Chad Ochocinco struggled on his first day of organized team activities.
Morning take: It looks like Ochocinco is picking up where he left off last season. The difference is New England has a ton of competition at receiver this year. Ochocinco will have to step it up to stay on the roster.
  • Should it be a surprise that New York Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez outperformed Tim Tebow in the first day of organized team activities?
Morning take: No, it shouldn't. Sanchez is the starter and Tebow is the backup. It's expected that the starter shows better quarterback in practice. It's Sanchez's job to stay ahead.
Morning take: Young is already on his third team in three years. He's no longer a starting quarterback. But Young can make it as a backup for several more years in the NFL if he maintains his focus.
