Greg Knapp has bounced back pretty nicely since being fired as the Oakland Raiders’ offensive coordinator on Dec. 31.

Last Friday, Knapp was hired as the Denver Broncos’ quarterback coach. He replaced Adam Gase, who was promoted to offensive coordinator. Gase replaced Mike McCoy, who became the head coach in San Diego. Talk about an AFC West domino effect.

As a result, Knapp has joined his new team in Hawaii and he is expected to work with the rest of the Denver coaching staff at the Pro Bowl this week.

Yes, Knapp went from a 4-12 season in Oakland to a Pro Bowl trip.

The Broncos wanted Knapp to take advantage of the time to spend with his new colleagues and get to know everyone in a relaxed setting. Knapp will also get a chance to coach his prized pupil. Peyton Manning is the starting AFC quarterback at the Pro Bowl.

Nothing like getting to know your new quarterback over pineapple slices.
