Video: Assistant coaches get sprints

WALTHAM, Mass. -- Celtics coach Doc Rivers extended a rare invite for members of the media with video cameras to hang around for the start of Boston's practice on Monday. The reason? An unspecified bet left Rivers' coaching staff -- the helmsman excluded -- running (jogging?) sprints to start the team's afternoon session.

Nothing takes the sting out of a four-game losing streak like getting to berate your coaching staff as they go sideline to sideline for a few laps. Just look at how much captain Paul Pierce enjoyed telling the likes of Armond Hill and Kevin Eastman to pick up their pace:
