The number of Patriots who will participate in the Pro Bowl continues to dwindle, as nose tackle Vince Wilfork withdrew from the game on Monday due to an unspecified injury.

He joins Wes Welker and Logan Mankins, who withdrew from the game earlier in the day. Tight end Rob Gronkowski also will miss the game, leaving quarterback Tom Brady, linebacker Jerod Mayo and special teamer Matthew Slater as the only Patriots still in line to play.

Wilfork was not listed on the Patriots' final injury report prior to the AFC Championship Game.

A five-time Pro Bowl pick, the nose tackle was the Patriots' only member of the NFL's All-Pro first team.
Field Yates has previous experience interning with the New England Patriots on both their coaching and scouting staffs. A graduate of Wesleyan University (CT), he is a regular contributor to ESPN Boston's Patriots coverage and ESPN Insider.
