Gronk on being injured: 'Hate it to the max'
January, 31, 2013
Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski was on SportsCenter from New Orleans on Thursday afternoon sporting a long black cast on his left forearm. In an interview with Hannah Storm (video above), he called re-breaking his forearm in the divisional playoff game against the Houston Texans "just a freak accident. Can't really do anything about it."
He also left no doubt he would be healed and ready to return before camp starts later this year.
“We have like 25 weeks or something before the start of camp," Gronk said. "Just taking my time, rehab, get it stronger, do everything I need to do. Work my muscles, start lifting again when I can do everything. Basically, just taking my time, get 100 percent and I’ll be ready for next year for sure.”
Gronk was also on the SVP and Russillo show on ESPN Radio in New Orleans. Here's the podcast of the interview.
