Wake-up call: Day 4 of combine

February, 24, 2013
INDIANAPOLIS -- The final day for our on-site coverage of the 2013 NFL Scouting combine is upon us, wrapping up what has been a productive trip for familiarizing ourselves with the pool of draft-eligible prospects.

The schedule is a little lighter today, as no NFL head coaches or GM's are scheduled to speak with the media, but we will hear from cornerbacks and safeties today. With the secondary being an area that the Patriots will be looking to upgrade this offseason, today should be an informative experience.

ESPN's NFL draft analysts Mel Kiper, Jr. recently unveiled his updated list of prospects by position, and his top five cornerbacks and safeties were as follows:

1. Dee Milliner, Alabama
2. Xavier Rhodes, Florida State
3. Johnthan Banks, Mississippi State
4. Desmond Trufant, Washington
5. Jordan Poyer, Oregon State

1. Kenny Vaccaro, Texas
2. Matt Elam, Florida
3. Tony Jefferson, Oklahoma
4. Eric Reid, LSU
5. D.J. Swearinger, South Carolina

Looking forward to hearing from some of these guys and more.

Meanwhile, on-field workouts continue with the running backs, receivers and quarterbacks. On Saturday, it was offensive linemen, tight ends and specialists.
