Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski spent his Wednesday at ESPN headquarters in Bristol, Conn., in part to promote the ongoing vote for the cover of "Madden NFL 25," the latest edition of the popular video game.

The field of 64 has been narrowed down to just 16 participants, and Gronkowski is one of eight still on the active-player side of the bracket.

His Round 3 opponent is the 2012 NFL MVP, Vikings running back Adrian Peterson, who recently defeated Eagles running back Lesean McCoy in a landslide second-round vote.

Gronkowski has advanced past Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown and Jets cornerback Darrelle Revis thus far, doing so in convincing fashion on both occasions. He's the lone remaining tight end in the field.

Third-round voting closes on April 3, and the winner will eventually be determined on April 24.
