Intense media spotlight on Hernandez

The Aaron Hernandez drama took a strange turn Wednesday, with local media following the Patriots tight end after left his house alone in a white SUV.

Local channels in Boston broke away from their programming to broadcast images of Hernandez getting into his car and driving to Gillette Stadium. Upon leaving the stadium shortly thereafter, Hernandez stopped at a gas station, where he was mobbed by reporters attempting to get a comment from as he pumped gas into his car.

Hernandez then drove onto Interstate 95 followed by Route 1.

Hernandez is embroiled in the investigation of the execution-style murder of a semi-pro football player, sources told ABC news. He has not yet been ruled out as a suspect.
