Dobson, Dennard present; Ridley absent

October, 2, 2013
FOXBOROUGH, Mass. -- Rookie receiver Aaron Dobson, who left Sunday night's win over the Falcons with a neck injury and never returned, was present for the start of practice this morning.

In addition, Dobson was one of three players wearing black jerseys as a practice player of the week (cornerback Logan Ryan and practice squad Braxston Cave were the others).

Elsewhere on the injury front, cornerback Alfonzo Dennard, who hobbled off on the second-to-last defensive play, was also present.

The three players not spotted at the start of practice were running back Stevan Ridley, receiver Matthew Slater and defensive lineman Vince Wilfork.

Practice was held in light shoulder pads and helmets.

Tight end Rob Gronkowski and receiver Danny Amendola, as they have been in recent weeks, were also present. Amendola seems to be running well.
