LAKE FOREST, Ill. -- The Bears had to deal with two adversaries last Monday night in Dallas: the Cowboys and the climate.

And the forecast Sunday for Jacksonville, Fla. is 85.

With the Cowboys Stadium roof opened, the announced temperature at kickoff of 80 degrees with 28 percent humidity caused problems for multiple Bears players throughout the course of their 34-18 victory. The list of casualties included nickel back D.J. Moore who at times got replaced by veteran Kelvin Hayden.

"I was blown, son," Moore said. "It was like the heat or something. I was thinking of taking my sleeves off or something. It was pretty warm, though. We had been practicing up here in like 65 degrees, then we got down there and it was rough.'

"It just got real warm and they were doing a lot of no-huddle, up-tempo stuff."

Because the Cowboys trailed for the entire game and essentially abandoned the run, the Bears used their nickel package for much of the game as Moore was on the field for 51 of the Bears 70 snaps on defense (73 percent). He finished the game with a season-high 10 tackles and intercepted Tony Romo midway through the fourth quarter.

Moore does not expect to have further heat related issues moving forward.

"We just played in Dallas, now we play in Jacksonville, so we're used to it," Moore said. "I'll be good."
