Briggs (ankle) expects to face Seahawks

LAKE FOREST, Ill. -- Slowed by a sore ankle, Chicago Bears linebacker Lance Briggs doesn't "plan on missing" Sunday's game against the Seattle Seahawks.

Briggs left near the end of last week's win over the Minnesota Vikings, missed practice on Wednesday and was listed on the club's official injury report with an ankle injury. The team won't release an official injury report until 4 p.m. CST. So it's unknown whether he'll practice on Thursday with the team.
