MINNEAPOLIS -- Chicago Bulls center Joakim Noah will miss his second straight game Sunday night against the Minnesota Timberwolves because of plantar fasciitis in his right foot. He did not travel with the team.

"(He's) just day-to-day," Bulls coach Tom Thibodeau said before the game. "Day-to-day. We'll see where he is when we get back."

Thibodeau knows Noah has been playing with the injury for a while.

"It just started bothering him again," Thibodeau said. "We just felt it was best to let it calm down a little bit."

This will be the sixth game Noah has missed this season. Derrick Rose (torn ACL) and Rip Hamilton (back) and Marco Belinelli (ab strain) also will not play.
