Cowboys to start offseason workouts April 15

The Cowboys will begin offseason workouts April 15 at Valley Ranch, it was announced on Thursday.

The majority of workouts are voluntary, including the organized team activities which have three phases: May 21-23, May 28-30 and June 3-6.

The Cowboys' mandatory minicamp is June 11-13. Dallas will have a rookie minicamp following the April 25-27 NFL draft from May 10-12.

The Cowboys will play the Miami Dolphins in the Hall of Fame Game on August 4 in Canton, Ohio. Training camp is tentatively scheduled to start July 20 in Oxnard, Calif. The team will have three road preseason games before returning to Dallas for the remaining two preseason games.

Several Cowboys players are participating in voluntary work at Valley Ranch already, including injured players who are doing rehab.
