Dwayne Harris suffers injury

November, 10, 2013
NEW ORLEANS -- Cowboys wide receiver Dwayne Harris left the game with 3:17 to play in the first quarter with an unknown injury. Harris was returning a kickoff when he was pushed out of bounds by the Saints Kevin Reddick.

It appeared Harris was out of bounds when he was pushed by Reddick. When Harris was falling down his head crashed into the Saints Cameron Jordan who wasn't involved in the play but was standing on the sidelines.

Harris lay face first on the Saints sideline for several moments. Jason Garrett, Tony Romo, Dez Bryant and DeMarco Murray walked to the Saints sidelines to check on Harris. When Harris left the field he went straight to the locker room.

Earlier in the game, Harris recovered a muffed punt by Darren Sproles, leading to the first score of the game, a 37-yard field goal by Dan Bailey.

Update: It was announced Harris had a neck and shoulder injury. He returned to the sidelines early in the second quarter.
