ESPNHS has announced its preseason All-State baseball teams, so feel free to start debating the Texas selections.

It's no surprise that Houston Christian ace Mitchell Traver or CC Carroll star Courtney Hawkins earned a spot on our first-team squad. But check out the entire list for who else made the list.

With the 2011-12 hoops season set to tip off, ESPNHS has all the info you need on the top players in Texas.

We’ve broken down the state’s top 20 players into four teams based on their talent, and included 50 other players who just missed the cut. Keep in mind, these selections are based on past accomplishments and projected on-court performance in addition to recruit rankings.

First team

G: Marcus Smart, Marcus, 6-3/200, Senior
Oklahoma State recruit was MVP of adidas Super 64 this past summer.

G: Rasheed Sulaimon, Strake Jesuit, 6-3/175, Senior
Averaged 21.3 points and 2.4 steals for Crusaders; pledged to Duke.

F: Julius Randle, Prestonwood Christian, 6-9/225, Junior
The nation's No. 3 junior tallied 24.6 points and 12.7 boards a game.

F: Isaiah Austin, Grace Prep, 7-0/200, Senior
Averaged 14 points and six blocks in leading Lions to TAPPS 4A title.

C: Cameron Ridley, Bush, 6-10/230, Senior
Texas pledge recorded 17.6 points, 15.3 boards and 5.6 blocks last year.

Second team

G: Andrew Harrison, Fort Bend Travis, 6-5/210, Junior
Ranked No. 4 in ESPNU 60 and shined at Boost Mobile Elite 24.

G: J-Mychal Reese, Bryan, 6-2/170, Senior
Texas A&M recruit can score in bunches; averaged 28.3 points last season.

G: L.J. Rose, Westbury Christian, 6-3/180, Senior
Pass-first playmaker pledged to Baylor; was at Second Baptist last year.

F: Danuel House, Hightower, 6-6/185, Senior
Led team to Class 5A semifinals and followed with a big summer on the AAU circuit.

C: Shaquille Cleare, The Village, 6-9/270, Senior
Maryland recruit has soft hands to go with his imposing frame.

Third team

G: Alex Caruso, A&M Consolidated, 6-5/180, Senior
Averaged 18 points and led Tigers in assists, boards, steals and blocks.

G: Aaron Harrison, Fort Bend Travis, 6-4/205, Junior
Tallied 13.5 points and 2.1 steals per game as just a sophomore last year.

F: Wannah Bail, Trent Internationale, 6-7/210, Senior
The Bahamas native is a freakish athlete who makes impact in the paint.

F: Danrad Knowles, Homeschool Christian Youth, 6-9/190, Senior
Houston recruit is home-schooled but too good to keep off this team.

C: Prince Ibeh, Naaman Forest, 6-10/225, Senior
Pulled down 9.3 rebounds and blocked 5.2 shots per game last season.

Fourth team

G: Phil Forte, Marcus, 5-10/175, Senior
Led Marauders in scoring (16.8 points) during Class 5A title run.

G: Keith Frazier, Irving, 6-4/180, Junior
Led Dallas Class 5A scorers with 21.2 points per game last year for Tigers.

G: Matt Jones, DeSoto, 6-4/180, Junior
Ranked No. 21 in ESPNU 60, he's deadly from 3-point range.

F: Connor Lammert, Churchill, 6-9/200, Senior
Texas recruit can do damage on the perimeter and in the post.
