Week 12 Predictions: Giants vs. Packers
November, 23, 2012
By ESPN New York staff
PACKERS 31, GIANTS 27
The Giants and Eli Manning will play much better than they did against the Bengals and keep it close. But the defense will have to play mistake-free football against Aaron Rodgers: if Rodgers has the ball last, the Packers win.
GIANTS 30, PACKERS 24
Green Bay is still ticked about losing its 15-1 season to the Giants at Lambeau, but it's hard to channel the pain of a playoff loss into a November game the following year. A struggling Eli has the most to prove in this game, and he'll come through.
GIANTS 31, PACKERS 27
Eli Manning has to snap out of it sooner or later. I'm taking the "sooner."
GIANTS 34, PACKERS 31
The Giants should have that sense of urgency back, and are well-rested, while the Packers are banged up.
PACKERS 30, GIANTS 14
The Giants usually struggle at this time of year, while Green Bay has the revenge factor from the 2011 playoffs.
GIANTS 34, PACKERS 23
The Packers may have won 5 straight but they've struggled to score on some bad teams during that streak. I think the Giants come out refocused and re-energized after their bye.
PACKERS 28, GIANTS 17
Rodgers will be too much for the Giants secondary, which was exploited by Andy Dalton.
GIANTS 31, BENGALS 17
The Giants will will put reports of offensive problems to bed.
