John Mara spoke to reporters Thursday for the first time about the Giants' failure to make the playoffs.
The Giants co-owner said he hasn't "quite gotten over" his team's failed title defense. He also touched on a few other subjects, including Osi Umenyiora's future.
The defensive end has made it no secret that he wants a new contract and a starting position and that he thinks it is time to move on.
"I don't know about that," Mara said when asked if Umenyiora has played his final game as a Giant. "We'll see what happens. I would love to have him back. He's been a great player for us. He's a great guy. He's been a huge part of our two Super Bowl wins, but there are economic considerations and we'll just have to see what happens."

That's right Wisey, love the Spartan! RT @MikeWiseguy: used to hate Randolph as a knucklehead Blazer. Now I love him as an old-head Grizzly.
