Murphy to visit Giants today

March, 15, 2013
ESPN's Adam Schefter is reporting that the Giants will have wide receiver Louis Murphy in for a visit today.

The Giants need to add depth at wide receiver with Domenik Hixon and Ramses Barden both free agents. It is possible that both could sign elsewhere after exploring the market.

Murphy, 25, played for the Panthers last season and had 25 receptions for 336 yards and one touchdown.

Prior to that, the 6-foot-2 wideout played three seasons with the Raiders. He had a total of 75 receptions and six touchdowns in his first two seasons with the Raiders from 2009-10.
