Injury report: Rolle and Webster to practice

August, 25, 2013
The Giants lost Stevie Brown for the season, but the secondary should get much-needed reinforcements this week.

Tom Coughlin said S Antrel Rolle (ankle) and CB Corey Webster (groin/knee) will practice this week. The Giants have only two practices before traveling to play New England in the preseason finale on Thursday.

"We will get (Rolle) back on the field and get him back working again," Coughlin said in a conference call with reporters.

Rolle has been steadily working in practice toward a return with his ankle rapidly improving.

Webster did not play on Saturday night due to his injuries, but Coughlin said the veteran corner will practice this week.

"Hopefully we can work that out and get some stability there," Coughlin said of Webster.

Coughlin also said CB Jayron Hosley may see if his ankle will be good enough to practice on Monday. Hosley injured his ankle against the Jets. The head coach also hopes to see more of Cooper Taylor this week. The rookie safety has been hampered by a hamstring injury for most of camp but has been working in practice recently.
