Injury report: Hill out, but Rex hopeful

November, 15, 2012
FLORHAM PARK, N.J. — For the second straight day, wide receiver Stephen Hill was not with his teammates on the practice field because of an illness. Jets coach Rex Ryan did not think it would affect the roster on Sunday in St. Louis, given that players usually only miss a few days for illness, but almost never do they miss games.

“When it says illness generally guys will play,” Ryan said. “... So I’m hopeful he’ll be able to play.”

LaRon Landry was on the field but didn’t practice with a heel injury. It’s his weekly routine at this point. As far as players who were limited, those were RB Joe McKnight (ankle), LB Bart Scott (toe), DL Sione Po’uha (low back) and RB Bilal Powell (concussion). McKnight didn’t play in Seattle but is optimistic about this week.
