Because we all spend too much time every week working on our fantasy football teams, it's worth devoting a whole post each Friday morning to fantasy football. Here's a look at where NFC East players fall in this week's rankings by ESPN.com's fantasy experts. Remember, the Giants are off this week. QUARTERBACKS

7. Robert Griffin III, Washington Redskins vs. Eagles

11. Tony Romo, Dallas Cowboys vs. Browns

18. Nick Foles, Philadelphia Eagles at Washington

Yeah, the matchup for Foles in fantastic, but there's the troublesome fact that we've never seen him play a whole NFL game. You can't assume a guy's good enough to torch a bad NFL pass defense just because he has the ball. If Foles puts up numbers, you can bet he'll rank higher next week.

RUNNING BACKS

7. LeSean McCoy, Eagles at Washington

8. Alfred Morris, Redskins vs. Eagles

20. Felix Jones, Cowboys vs. Browns

It's a testament to how far the Eagles' offense as a whole has fallen that, in a week in which Adrian Peterson and Marshawn Lynch are on bye, there are still six running backs rated ahead of McCoy in fantasy football ... I think the Cowboys found a little something in the run game last week and should be able to run on Cleveland, but I can't tell you how much of it will be Jones and how much will be Lance Dunbar.

WIDE RECEIVERS

18. Dez Bryant, Cowboys vs. Browns

19. Miles Austin, Cowboys vs. Browns

23. DeSean Jackson, Eagles at Washington

26. Jeremy Maclin, Eagles at Washington

43. Santana Moss, Redskins vs. Eagles

I mean, come on. I know the division's down and its only winning team is off this week. But no receivers in the top 17? How many kicks in the teeth can one division take? I'd happily play either Eagles receiver this week, and if I had to pick one I'd take Maclin, who seemed to dominate the targets last week after Foles went in for Michael Vick ... Keep an eye on Washington's Pierre Garcon, who hasn't yet been ruled out and is at least worth picking up and putting on your bench if he's available.

TIGHT ENDS

4. Jason Witten, Cowboys vs. Browns

T13. Brent Celek, Eagles at Washington

19. Logan Paulsen, Redskins vs. Eagles

Only Witten is a starter in a 12-team league this week. It's about right. After an encouraging start to the season, Celek's been disappointing. And while Paulsen's played well, he's no Fred Davis.

KICKERS

15. Dan Bailey, Cowboys vs. Browns

T16. Kai Forbath, Redskins vs. Eagles

In case you hadn't heard, the Eagles' offense is struggling. And the kicker missed an extra point attempt last week. These two things keep your kicker from showing up in fantasy rankings.

TEAM DEFENSES

T9. Cowboys vs. Browns

13. Redskins vs. Eagles

21. Eagles at Washington

Again, yeah. Dallas is the only one I'd start. Though if you're in a pinch, the Redskins seem likely to force a turnover or two.
