LANDOVER, Md. -- If you're a fan of the New York Giants or the Washington Redskins, and you were worried about the inactives list for tonight's "Monday Night Football" game, you have permission to exhale.

Redskins linebacker London Fletcher and left tackle Trent Williams and Giants safety Kenny Phillips and defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul, all of whom were question marks due to injury, are active and will play in tonight's game. It will be the 236th consecutive game for Fletcher, who has been nursing an ankle injury.
Williams is the Redskins' best offensive lineman and is playing at an elite left-tackle level this year. Even if he's slowed by a thigh injury, his presence in the game is vital to Washington's effort to keep the Giants' pass rush off of quarterback Robert Griffin III.
Pierre-Paul had a back injury this week, and Phillips has been struggling with knee problems all year. But the Giants' best pass-rusher and best safety appear set to go, at least in some form or fashion. The Giants have been using three-safety looks recently, and if Phillips can play a significant number of snaps it will assist them in their effort to show Griffin and the Redskins' offense something they didn't see in the Giants' 27-23 Week 7 victory over the Redskins in New Jersey.
I am here at FedEx Field all night and will be live-chatting during the game at ESPN.com. Hit me up there with questions.
