When you reduce supply, you increase demand. When you increase demand, you can raise prices. The Redskins are raising ticket prices in 2013, and it'll cost you more to park at the games too. But at least they just won the division, right? I mean, it's not as though they only won four games and they're raising prices. That'd be, like, nuts.

John Keim's most recent position review looks at the Redskins' tight end situation. I've been thinking they'd franchise Fred Davis again, but as Keim points out their cap situation might make the franchise number too tough for them to afford, and they might be better off giving him a two-year deal with a lower average salary.

New York Giants

Justin Tuck thinks the 49ers have the better of the two teams playing in the Super Bowl on Sunday, but he likes the Ravens because they remind him of last year's Giants.

Oh, and Osi Umenyiora would like to make sure he keeps his free-agent options open, and he maintains that one of those options is the Giants -- as long as they'd make him a starter again. Not sure how they do that, but I guess he's allowed to hope.

Dallas Cowboys

DeMarcus Ware says he played in a 4-3 defense in college and would have no problem transitioning to defensive end in the Cowboys' new alignment in 2013. I think the only real concern is whether he can hold up physically, as we've seen him wear down a bit at the end of the season in recent years. But it is hard to bet against a great player like Ware.

Cowboys great Emmitt Smith says he's "very frustrated" with the performance of the team but declines to lay blame at the feet of owner Jerry Jones.

Philadelphia Eagles

A couple of 49ers assistants who coached against Chip Kelly in college believe that Kelly will do just fine as the new head coach of the Eagles.

Oh, and the Eagles are raising ticket prices. Even though they only won four games. Kelly's making an awful lot of money, ya know.
