EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- New York Giants defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul suffered a right shoulder stinger in Sunday's 24-20 win over the Oakland Raiders, but said X-rays were negative.

Pierre-Paul left the game in the first quarter, but returned in the second quarter. He also recorded his second sack of the season.

"I'm good," Pierre-Paul said after the game. "I feel good."

Pierre-Paul entered Sunday's game feeling as healthy as he has all year. After offseason back surgery, he struggled in the first half of the season, recording just one sack in the Giants' first eight games. The defensive end said he kept thinking about his back and how it might affect him.

On Sunday, Pierre-Paul matched his first-half sack total in the first quarter when he wrapped up Raiders quarterback Terrelle Pryor for a 4-yard loss. He was injured on the following play, laying on the ground for a few moments before gingerly making his way off the field with the trainers.

Pierre-Paul returned about halfway through the second quarter. He finished with four combined tackles and one quarterback hit.

"I was running to the ball every play," Pierre-Paul said. "I just felt good out there. I can't say I'm fully all the way back but I'm getting there."
