Detroit Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford appeared Wednesday morning on ESPN Radio's "Mike & Mike in the Morning." Stafford spoke about the Lions' close losses, Ndamukong Suh and Calvin Johnson's pursuit of the NFL's record for receiving yards in a season. Here is the podcast if you missed it.

Stafford said, "I don't think there's anything wrong with the maturity of our team" -- a credible statement given receiver Titus Young's trip to injured reserve -- and said "it's definitely up there" in importance to help Johnson break the record.
