As we noted Thursday, Donald Driver will host a public farewell as part of his retirement Wednesday at Lambeau Field. On Friday morning, the Green Bay Packers began distributing a limited number of free tickets to the event.
The photos below, courtesy of the Packers and Twitter follower @KCousineau09, show the line that formed outside the ticket office.
Keep in mind that when the office opened at 9 a.m. CT, it was minus-3 degrees in Green Bay.
The wind chill was -22.
Tickets were gone by 9:14 a.m. CT, according to the Green Bay Press Gazette.
If you thought I was joking Thursday about Driver's popularity among fans, hopefully you'll consider this visual affirmation.

I love Packer fans dedication. If I didn't have a busy day I would be waiting with them. twitter.com/KCousineau09/s…
