New gig: Reid is the new head coach of the Kansas City Chiefs.

Reid
Reid
Previous job: He spent 1999-2012 as Philadelphia's coach, leading the Eagles to the playoffs nine times during that period. He won 130 regular-season games and 10 playoff games, and led the Eagles to the Super Bowl once.

Age: 54.

Playing history: He was an offensive and defensive lineman at Brigham Young University.

Known for: A smart offensive mind, who his players respect. Good overall football man.

Reasons to be excited: Reid has a ton of experience and is a top offensive mind. He brings credibility to the program, and knows how to build a winner.

Reasons to be worried: His Eagles’ era ended badly and he needs to prove he isn’t burned out and can stay energized. The Chiefs do not have a quarterback, and Reid has to find a strong defensive coach. He needs to show he can rebound his career.
