Beavers are Pac-12 winners in mock draft

January, 16, 2014
Quick, which Pac-12 team will have the most first-round picks in the NFL draft according to ESPN's Mel Kiper Jr.?

If you guessed Oregon State, pat yourself on the back.

The Beavers have a pair of first-round picks projected in Kiper's first mock draft for 2014, which accounts for half the conference's total.

Receiver Brandin Cooks, the 2013 Biletnikoff Award winner, is projected at No. 28 to Carolina (let the Steve Smith comparisons begin) and defensive end Scott Crichton is at No. 31 to Denver.

Kiper has UCLA linebacker Anthony Barr as the conference's top player and second defensive player drafted at No. 6 to Atlanta. USC receiver Marqise Lee, the 2012 Biletnikoff winner, is projected as the No. 3 receiver taken (New York Jets at No. 18).
