A writer and columnist for the Dallas Morning News from 1966 through July 1998, and now a columnist with the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, Randy Galloway -- along with cohort Matt Mosley -- uses his sports expertise to dominate the radio airwaves.

• Even though the Rangers got dominated last night, Randy was entertained by David Murphy striking out a Red Sox outfielder.
• Rangers are dealing with a possible suspension of Nellie Cruz. Randy thinks that Nellie is going to become a victim of MLB's desire to catch A-Rod and Ryan Braun. Randy says Nellie is a great guy, but if he screwed up he needs to be punished. Mosley agrees that Cruz may be caught in the Braun crossfire.
• Glenn "Stretch" Smith is up in arms about the Cowboys' play-calling situation. He thinks that at least one area of the Cowboys' offense is going to suffer. It may be communication, it may be offensive line work. He thinks that this is one of Jerry's worst decisions.
• Oakland won again today and Randy likes the fact that the A's are keeping pressure on the Rangers. Mosley points out that the next 27 games will tell us a lot about the Rangers. Randy wants to see the Rangers put to the test.
• Mosley thinks that Tony Romo's fingerprints are all over the change at Cowboys playcaller. Randy agrees to an extent. Friedo says that Romo probably doesn't even care who's calling the plays.

• Cruz had an interesting night in the outfield last night in Boston. He's also is about to face and interesting time off the field over the next few weeks.
• Cruz may be facing a 50-game suspension. Randy says that it's in Cruz's best interest to waive his right to appeal. Randy also points out that if Nellie confesses, he will be forgiven.
• Cowboys drama continues. Stretch thinks that Garrett is still exerting his control at Valley Ranch. Mosley and Galloway disagree. Bob Knight tells a great story about Bill Parcells.
• Rangers need to bounce back tonight.
