24 girls named McDonald's All Americans

Over the past 12 years, 288 girls have been named McDonald's All Americans. But Taya Reimer is unique.

The 6-foot-2 Notre Dame commit from Hamilton Southeastern (Indianapolis) is half of the first father-daughter duo in McDonald's history.

Her dad, former NBA player Ben Davis, was a McDonald's All American in 1991.

There are other "family" connections in the 2013 class, too, which was announced on Thursday.

High school teammates Kailee Johnson and Jordan Reynolds will both play for the West squad in the April 3 game (7 p.m. ET on ESPNU) in Chicago.

And there are six sets of future teammates -- at North Carolina, Duke, Notre Dame, Stanford, Kentucky and Tennessee -- among this year's selections.
