Maya Moore recalls one of her favorite playoff memories, which happened against San Antonio in 2011 in a thrilling win that came down to the buzzer.

The 2013 playoffs are finally upon us, and I could not be more excited!

The postseason is like Christmastime as a kid for me. We've put in tremendous work throughout the season to prepare ourselves for this time of year. I'm really looking forward to the battle and grind of every game. All eight teams are going to be playing with a heightened intensity knowing their opponent could end their season. This makes every detail of each game crucial.

One of my favorite playoff memories came my rookie year in 2011. We faced San Antonio in my first-ever playoff game, and it came down to the buzzer. We were playing at home and it was back and forth all game. Seimone Augustus hit a shot that put us up by one late in the fourth, and then Lindsay Whalen came up with a game-saving steal on an inbound pass to give us the win as time expired.

It was a thrilling game that showcased what playoffs are all about: heart, determination and making big plays.

I'm so anxious to experience the playoff atmosphere again at the Target Center. Having home court is a huge advantage for us. We have been so good at home, and our fans have provided awesome energy every game. I love how our crowd gives us that edge when we play, and I expect nothing different when we face off with Seattle. There are so many memories, challenges and successes from this season that will propel us through our battles.

I know that the Target Center will be rocking again when we face Seattle. Let's get this postseason off right, Lynx Nation!
