Lorena Ochoa won 27 titles and more than $14 million during her career.

Happy birthday Lorena Ochoa, who turns 32 today! One of the most celebrated female golfers of recent years, Ochoa retired from the sport in 2010. The Mexico native ended her career with two major titles and 25 additional LPGA victories. At the time of her retirement announcement, she had been the No. 1 golfer in the world for more than three years. Citing a desire to spend more time with her family as the reason for her unexpected departure, Ochoa is still involved in golf through her annual tournament and her Mexico-based foundation. She was recently voted one of the most influential Hispanic females in sports history by a poll conducted by espnW and ESPN Deportes. She gave birth to her second child with husband Andres Conesa Labastida earlier this month. The Lorena Ochoa Invitational is being contested this week, and Pornanong Phatlum of Thailand was winning after the first round.
