Hi women’s basketball fans! This is Haley Peters, a junior forward for the Duke Blue Devils. As the season officially got started this past weekend, we have yet to play a game. We are deep in the process of getting better every day, getting the freshmen acclimated to our system and standards and trying to build on the lessons we’ve learned and experience we’ve gained from last year and this summer.
My dad, Thomas Williford, is an Air Force officer with 25 years of service and is still on active duty, assigned to the Pentagon in Washington, D.C. His Air Force call sign is Tee. He joined the Air National Guard when he was 16 to pay for his college education.
