Courtesy of Meagan MayHowdy! Can you feel it in the air, softball fans? It is the 2012 postseason! It is finally upon us, and the excitement is a tangible thing all across the country. Sixty-four deserving teams are preparing for collegiate softball's biggest show.
Texas A&M University Howdy! This has been an awesome week so far and it isn't even half over! We had a great series against Boise State (we swept the three-game series) that had a wonderful outcome on our season. Sunday was originally going to be a bit of a stressful day for us because we were going to be traveling during the Selection Show.
Howdy! So this week we are all in a very new and different environment, also known as Boise, Idaho. None of our players has ever been here before, so we are all very excited to visit a new place. It is very beautiful here and, surprisingly, full of Aggies.
Howdy! So we finally clinched our first conference sweep in a series that was three consecutive days. That may sound a little strange, but we have dropped at least one game out of three against every team we have played in conference except Baylor.
Howdy, guys! I come to you this week with a little bit of a bad taste in my mouth after a tough weekend against t.u. [sic] We had quite a few chances to take the weekend, and it just didn't pan out the way we wanted.
