In the blink of an eye the tournament goes from 64 teams to 16. Waking up this morning as one of the teams that gets to play another day is an amazing feeling, to say the least. It hasn't been an easy road for us this year.
On to super regionals we go! As if my team needed any extra motivation to get this regional weekend done in three straight wins, it was a hot one in Norman. The fans were on full blast in the dugout, and the rosin bags got worn out.
Howdy from Aggieland! Wow, what a weekend for Texas A&M softball. I want to start off by thanking our incredible fan base for coming out to the Aggie Softball Complex all weekend. The heat climbed in the south Texas sun, but that didn't stop the 12th Man from making their presence known to the visiting teams and to everyone watching on national television.
It's finally coming together and we are almost there. This was such an incredible weekend for Sun Devils softball. Dallas Escobedo was absolutely lights out in the circle. Her confidence within herself and within the team is what is going to take us all the way to Oklahoma City.
I hope everyone is enjoying all the softball on TV as much as I am.! The postseason is the most exciting part of the year. This is what each team works for day in and day out, which is to be able to get back to the big stage in Oklahoma City.
I hope everyone has had a great week. As you all know postseason has finally arrived, and it’s my favorite time of year. This past weekend did not go exactly as planned at the SEC tournament, but it was still great preparation for regionals.

Since the last blog, Texas A&M softball won our series against Mississippi State and traveled to the SEC tournament in Lexington, Ky. With the way the seedings worked out, we faced Alabama in the opener and dropped a tough back-and-forth loss.
This is my first post as an official graduate of The University of Texas! So to begin this entry, I’d like to say thanks and Hook ‘Em. We wrapped up our conference season Sunday with a win over Baylor in the ninth inning on a very emotional Senior Day.
I got some great and unexpected news Wednesday. Corinne, our sports information director, texted me that morning and said she had a big surprise for me.I was extremely eager to find out what this big surprise was and went into the team room to find out.
First we want to send congratulations to the 64 teams who made it into the 2013 NCAA tournament. For the Alabama softball program, this makes 15 in a row. Our coaches, players and staff couldn’t be more excited.
And the road to Oklahoma City begins. It is now my favorite time of the year. This is what we have worked so hard for each and every year. I can honestly say I have butterflies just thinking about it.
James Madison celebrates its inclusion in the NCAA softball tournament.
Raven Chavanne and her Tennessee teammates took care of business against South Carolina in their SEC opener and are primed for a rematch against Missouri.
Hey, everyone! I hope you’re all as excited for the postseason as I am. But first, I want to talk about last weekend, which was hectic weather-wise as we finished up the regular season. For our last SEC series, we traveled up to Columbia to face the Missouri Tigers.
