Hiring process continues for new league

By Lizzie Haldane
The inaugural National Women's Soccer League College Draft, part of the National Soccer Coaches Association of America Convention, will be held Friday in Indianapolis. Each of the eight teams will select four stars, one each round, for their 20-player rosters. Fifty-five players from the U.S., Canada, and Mexico federations already were allocated last Friday. So after this draft, there will be 73 spots remaining for free agents before training begins in March. Here's to hoping the third time's the charm.
