Recalling Ecaterina Szabo's Olympic haul

Remember Ecaterina Szabo? The Romanian gymnast, who celebrates her 46th birthday today, won four gold medals and one silver at the 1984 Los Angeles Olympics. Heading into the Games, she was dubbed “the next Nadia” after Nadia Comaneci. If her name doesn’t ring a bell, there’s good reason. Szabo’s silver came in the prestigious individual all-around, where she finished second to American sweetheart Mary Lou Retton.
