The Harbaughs are far from alone
By Lizzie Haldane
John and Jim Harbaugh may be the first brother head coaches in a Super Bowl, but they aren't the only siblings to compete for the ring. Of the 22 sets of brothers who have reached the Super Bowl, the most notable are the Mannings and Barbers. Peyton and Eli have each appeared twice with Eli (two) winning one more ring than his older bro. Twins Tiki and Ronde have each appeared once with only Ronde coming home with the hardware. These guys aren't the only examples of siblings to reach elite levels -- the Williams sisters of tennis (Serena and Venus) have won 13 Grand Slam doubles titles together; the DiMartino sisters of soccer (Tina, Gina and Vicki) are the first family of three to all compete at the pro level; and the Ogwumike sisters of basketball (Nneka and Chiney) have proven their prowess on the court.
