Leaplings deserve to celebrate their birthdays, too, even if Feb. 29 didn't make it onto our 2013 calendars. A few noteworthy sports figures mark their birthdays on that elusive day, including the late Dinah Shore, a member of the World Golf Hall of Fame; Olympic swimmer Cullen Jones; former MLS star Taylor Twellman; and New Zealand tennis player Claudia Williams, who celebrated her Sweet 16 in 2012 on the actual day. Feb. 29 won’t grace our calendars again until 2016.
