Rich volleyball soil in Nebraska

Nebraska became the 37th state on this day in 1867, and has since become home to a dominant women’s volleyball program that has been ranked in all 446 American Volleyball Coaches Association Top 25 polls since 1982. The only other program to also be ranked 446 weeks is Stanford. Next season, the University of Nebraska will welcome a set of highly touted homegrown twins, Kadie and Amber Rolfzen, who will look to continue the rich Cornhuskers’ tradition.
